My #BarCampCHS wishlist…

It amazes me everytime: the power of an idea….and how like-minded individuals can really mobilize and get something together in a flash. Cue BarCamp, an amazing idea of a conference centered on participant generated content with a open and engaged atmosphere of learning. Phew that was a lot at once, but I have to say, I’m pretty excited! Excited to learn something new from some amazingly talented people. Excited to network and become more a part of Charleston, both personally and professionally. And excited that it’s only been about a week since we started thinking about doing one here in Charleston.
Friends and fellow planners Eugene and Jared have done a great job already of explaining it, if you want to learn more about what exactly a BarCamp really is….as well as the Digitel Here
I thrive on learning new things and interacting with people! Since my daily job (as a web developer) relies heavily on computer technologies, one would be hard pressed to stay up to date and current on so many different technologies as well as be any good at them….and that’s just techie related….
So I thought putting down my ‘wishlist’ of BarCamp sessions/discussions might help others think about what they might want to present (hint, hint) as well as documenting (virtual earmarking) things I want to know :)
